An interview with Aylin Tezel, the director of "Falling Into Place", interviewer Triin Tramberg
"""Falling Into Place"" is a romantic story about Kira and Ian, who meet on a winter weekend in Scotland. A moment at the bar evolves into a magical connection between the two strangers, where reality is overshadowed by the lightness of life and profound emotions. The time spent together and the unexpected attraction towards each other are just the beginning of a journey towards self-discovery and facing one's fear.
The film is directed by Aylin Tezel, who not only works behind the camera but also brings Kira's character to the audience on-screen. This is her first major film where she has taken on the role of a director. In describing the process of completing the script, Tezel states: ""When I wrote that story it just kind of came through me. I never knew what was happening and I was basically watching the film while I was writing it"". Regarding her experience in working in multiple roles, Tezel has mentioned that the entire process was intuitive, with decisions being made largely based on gut feelings.
