Interview with Anne de Carbuccia, the director of "Earth Protectors", interviewer Mikk Granström.
"Anne de Carbuccia is a globetrotting environmental artist who seeks to use her creations to find strength for a more sustainable use of the planet by humanity. To raise awareness about climate and the environment, she has established the ""One Planet, One Future"" foundation. Due to her passion for nature, she has collaborated with various organizations such as the UN and UNESCO. Her works have been acknowledged by several notable individuals, including actress Aleisha Allen, filmmaker Harvey Weinstein, and fencer Nzingha Prescod.
With her new film, ""Earth Protectors"" Carbuccia provides a perspective on a new era where humans no longer have control over floods, pollution, deadly viruses, and other paralyzing global catastrophes. Carbuccia, however, does not view this negatively, as she maintains faith in humanity - ""We've seen with Covid for example, how quickly humans can adapt and how quickly they can change their behaviors if they want to or if they're pushed to"". The film introduces a new generation of people actively working to save the planet, and the filmmaker brings their stories to the audience.
