Yousaf Ali Khan early life events have had a great influence on his movies. His films explore issues of identity, marginalization, and belonging. The mom's brute boyfriend in the movie "No Way Home" is played by Josh Herdman who is well known as Gregory Goyle from Harry Potter movies.
"No Way Home" is a story about a 10-year-old Ryan who runs away from his mom and her violent boyfriend and becomes convinced that the shabby-looking man he stumbles upon in a container is his long-lost father. Instead, the man is a suspect for terrorism.
