South African screenwriter and director Etienne Fourie is best known for his films "Die Windpomp" (2014), "Dis Koue Kos, Skat" (2016), "Liewe Kersfeesvader" (2017). In 2021 he won the SAFTA for Best Achievement in Directing TV Drama for “Tydelik Terminaal” (2020).
