Interview with Leon Prudovsky and David Hayman, the director and leading actor of “My neighbor Adolf”, interviewer Andrei Liimets.
“Humour has to be part of our healing.”
Mr Marek Polsky is sure that his new neighbor Mr Herzog is no other than Adolf Hitler himself, but local authorities do not believe his theory. Being a survivor of the holocaust, Polsky couldn’t help but notice the neighbor’s conversations in German, his left-handedness, painting hobby and those blue eyes that he can not forget. Perhaps the best way to reveal Herzog’s true identity is by befriending him?
David Hayman is one of Scotand’s most acclaimed actors who has starred in many films, and Leon Prudovsky is Israeli film director writes his own scripts, equally directs other projects and serves as a script consultant and artistic adviser. Since Prudovsky made the film raise a serious topic with a sense of humour, it is not surprising that Hayman, who loves comedy and does not plan on stopping acting at his age, is starring in it.
