Interview with an Konrad Glabek, interviewer Lennart Mathias Männik.
"Konrad works for Etiuda & Anima Festival in Krakow, Poland. The festival offers both animation films and student films. He is responsible for the anime competition program and student film program.
He came to BNFF with an animation program by the Polish School of Animation called “Short films about women''. It consists of 8 films made by women.
The name of The Polish School of Animation dates back to the 1950s, but they are trying to show a new approach. Back then animation was very male-oriented. Now they are changing it around. Now they are more focused on the female perspective.
He likes the hybrid film festival program format, which shows short movies and animations together as it works great for introducing animation to people who might have had prejudice against it.
