An interview with Dr. Biju, the director of "Invisible Windows", interviewer Milani Perera
"Who would have thought that an alternative medicine doctor could be a completely serious film director? The honor belongs to Bijukumar Damodaran, also known as Dr. Biju, who loves to use simplicity in his works, with occasional thematic specificity.
He has brought this idea to the audience in his film ""Invisible Windows"", where social politics meets dystopia. There is so much more in the world that we fail to understand when we are trapped in our perceptions of reality. Through the characters in the film, the viewer can form a new understandings of society's struggle for survival, love, peace, justice, and many other important topics. The story's structure is unique and it contains much deeper content than it may initially seem.
The award winning director says “I believe that filming is not only for entertainment, I use film as a social tool.” Damodaran believes that it's important to also address marginalized and ordinary peoples' worlds and their issues.
