Interview with Vitali Shkliarov, the producer of "Minsk", interviewer Edvinas Pukšta
“It took almost six months of preparing and rehearsing with the actors before shooting. it’s like with theater plays, you have to hurl and train a lot.” - Vitali Shkliarov
The story of "Minsk" takes place in August 2020. Pasha and Yulia, a young married couple, leave the house at night and find themselves in the midst of a civilian protest. What was meant to be a peaceful walk turns into a real hell, in which innocent people become victims of police brutality. Very notably, the film was shot in one take without editing cuts.
Producer Vitali Shkliarov came by BNFF TV studio today to tell us a bit more about the film "Minsk".
