Nicole and Veronica are best friends, who haven't had the best of luck in life. Nicole has lost her brother and Veronica has to live with her alcoholic father. They decide to set camp in an abandoned farmhouse that used to belong to Nicole’s family. A common desire to get away from all the problems brings them together and the pursuit of a better life may begin.
Agata Smoluch Del Sorbo is a Canadian film producer. She founded a production company Borrowed Light Films that is focused on stories that have been made by women and representatives of minority groups.
